Alice Darilek Water Conservation Award

The Alice Darilek Award is to recognize an outstanding contributor to the water conservation field within the Rocky Mountain Section of the American Water Works Association. It's named in honor of Alice Darilek, whose dedicated work in New Mexico helped water conservation efforts throughout the region. The award is given annually to recognize a water conservation professional for exceptional performance and commitment to water conservation in the region.

This award is to recognize an outstanding distribution system operator within the Rocky Mountain Section of American Water Works Association. It's awarded annually to recognize a water distribution system operator for exceptional performance, dedication and teamwork.

This award, established in honor of Wendell R. LaDue, is a Section-level award presented to recognize distinguished water utility safety programs within the Section’s geographic range.

Water Hero Award

The Water Hero Award is to acknowledge an individual (or a group of individuals) who performed duties above and beyond the usual call of duty during an emergency situation to continue to protect the public and environment. These duties elevate the status of the water industry. This award can be given out at any time and is not limited in number.

Young Professional of the Year Award

This award recognizes a young professional for their efforts in promoting the water / wastewater industry, advocating the transfer of knowledge from more experienced professionals to young professionals, and supporting the missions of the RMSAWWA/RMWEA.
