Serving on the Board of Trustees

Dear RMSAWWA Members:
The Nominating Committee of the Rocky Mountain Section American Water Works Association (RMSAWWA) is accepting applications from members who are interested in serving on the RMSAWWA Board of Trustees. 

The Committee is seeking applications for the position of Trustee. Serving as a Trustee offers the opportunity to represent the Section and advance its mission across all three of our states: Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. The Section's diverse membership spans careers in utility operations, design and construction, as well as manufacturing, sales, and research and innovation.

Interested members are asked to complete the online application form below. The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 at 5:00pm (MDT).

OPEN POSITION: Board Trustee

  • Term: Four (4) years on a rotating basis, commencing after the Annual Business Meeting
  • Reports To: Section Chair.
  • Succession: Nomination made by the Nominating Committee. Elected by vote of the general membership during the Annual Business Meeting, at a fully noticed meeting, or other means permitted by law and approved by the Board of Trustees
