Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the capability of individuals to identify and manage their own emotions and the emotions of others.  The importance and potential of high emotional intelligence is recognized both in and outside of the workplace as being as important, if not more important, than IQ.  The practice of strong emotional intelligence is conducive for a high trust environment and includes focus on self-awareness, self-management, relationship management and social awareness.  This course is designed to help people perform better by building stronger relationships with their customers, managers, peers and direct reports.
