SESSION DESCRIPTION:

Do you find yourself busier than ever, with less to show for your full day at work? Are you finding it difficult to get work done? Are you stressed, burned out, and not as productive as you want to be?

We’re dealing with so many different types of distractions today: some are external and some are our own doing, but these distractions take away from our focus and hinder our productivity. For this workshop, Karen Main has scoured the Internet of Things, researched, and talked to experts in the field of productivity to bring you the most effective tips and strategies to manage distractions, increase your focused-work time, and be at your productive best.

You’ll learn strategies and tips to:

• Understand your unique productivity gremlins which draw you away from your focused time.
• Manage external distractions which interrupt your work flow and use your energy.
• Organize your day and schedule your time using a variety of simple apps.
• Focus your time and energy to be more productive (in shorter amounts of time!)
• Identify rewards that are meaningful and relevant to you.
• Understand the importance of delegation and how to delegate for the benefit of all.
• Make sound decisions and create a plan for moving forward.
