The Rocky Mountain Section of the American Water Works Association and the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association are proud to partner with the University of Denver to deliver the Rocky Mountain Leadership Academy.
This two-day
program develops the knowledge, tools and skills today’s leaders need to successfully manage and lead a team. The curriculum combines academic knowledge and industry practices to deliver a comprehensive program which benefits professionals from a
variety of backgrounds.
Whether you have a few years of experience in leadership or are stepping into a management role for the first time, the Rocky Mountain Leadership Academy will help you reach your leadership potential.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After completing the Rocky Mountain Leadership Academy, participants will be able to:
- Articulate and define the role of effective leaders in the complex world
- Understand their leadership strengths and growth opportunities
- Create and articulate a personal philosophy of leadership
- Develop practice and habits that support leading effectively
- Incorporate new tools to create a strong climate and to enable high performing teams
- Accelerate the development of teams through effective feedback and coaching
- Expand communication skills specific to effective listening, building trust and addressing conflict
- Strengthen the leadership connections across water districts

PROFESSIONAL/OPERATOR CREDITS
The training has been pre-approved for operator credits in Colorado (1.5 TUs), Wyoming and New Mexico. Attendees of this class will receive 15 hours of training credits.

Bo Storozuk DU Executive Education Faculty
Bo Storozuk is strategic learning and talent management consultant at Jacobs, where he specializes in organizational development with a focus
on learning and talent management, strategic and cultural alignment and operationalizing performance management programs. He has worked with the Daniels College of Business for nearly a decade, most recently in Executive Education’s Accelerated
Leadership Experience program for high potential employees. Bo also works with clients on solutions related to team chartering, conflict resolution, change management and conscious inclusion. |
