In 2014 the Rural Community Assistance Partnership applied for and received USEPA grant funds to provide training and technical assistance to small public water systems to help systems achieve and maintain compliance with the SDWA. AWWA was designated as a sub-awardee in the application and subsequently received funding through RCAP to deliver one workshop for small systems in each state.
The target audiences for this course are operators, decision makers, engineers, and managers of small water and distribution systems including small community water systems, non-transient noncommunity water systems, and transient noncommunity water systems serving less than 3,300.
AWWA is once again partnering with RCAP as a sub-awardee to conduct similar compliance-focused workshops. If you operate multiple systems this may apply to more than one of your systems.
Training is 100% free to attendees, however pre-registration to attend is required.
Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. On-site check-in begins at 7:00 am; the Training will begin at 8:00 am and it will conclude at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Lunch will be provided.
Contact Bud Spillman or Jerry Popp for questions about class content.
